Subotic went on trial on Friday, accused of killing four civilians, in collaboration with other soldiers, and physically abusing another civilian in Dusina during the conflict in 1993 while he was serving with the Seventh Muslim Brigade of the Bosnian Army.
Its alleged that he and other brigade members surrounded houses in the village, ordered about 40 civilians and a few disarmed members of the Croatian Defence Council to be taken prisoner, then killed four of them.
Prosecutor Slavica Terzic said on Friday that among the witnesses that she plans to call will be people who survived the killings, all of whom will confirm his involvement in the war crimes.
Some of the witnesses will confirm he gave the order to kill, while we will also call witnesses who tried to give alibis to the defendant, but did not confirm it during their questioning, said Terzic.
The prosecution will prove that the Seventh Muslim Briagde took part in the attack on Dusina, and the defendant was the commander. We will also prove he was the one to call some prisoners and order the killings and that he tortured one man, she continued.

The first prosecution witness will be called on October 4.
